David, Simon and Jovanka wear black in tribute to Queen Elizabeth II

But on today's coverage of the Julius Baer Generation Cup, David Howell, Simon Williams and Jovanka Houska showed that for one day only their thoughts were also elsewhere.

On the day Queen Elizabeth II's funeral was held in London's Westminster Abbey, eagle-eyed viewers will have seen that David, Simon and Jovanka appeared on screen wearing black.

David confirmed why on the broadcast: "An emotional day, in and out of the chess world. Yeah, it's been a long day."
